About Us
My name is Jonathan Pride, and I am the owner of Waggin’ Wheels Mobile Pet Grooming. I grew up in a small town in New Hampshire but have called Fayetteville, North Carolina home since 2016. I recently retired from the military after 22 years and 4 years of government contracting. I have been learning grooming since 2022 when I started this business with a former partner. Now, I am happy to be a single owner and employ a staff that does an outstanding job. My hobbies include building things, traveling, and spending time with my kids and dogs.
Meet Christina! She handles all the phone calls, scheduling, and inventory. She also grew up in New Hampshire and was the owner's High School sweetheart. They recently got back together after being apart for 25 years.
Meet Chelliza (Chel)! She has decided to come back to us after 9 months off. Welcome back! Originally from everywhere but mostly Georgia, Chel has brought her unique style and energy to our team. She’s been grooming for 4 years, starting in her mother-in-law’s business, where she honed her skills and grew a love for the craft. Now with us, Chel’s creativity truly shines when she’s working on doodles and Schnauzers, her favorite breeds. She loves experimenting with different cuts and styles, always looking for new ways to bring out each dog’s personality.
Meet Rebecca "Becca." She is a Parkton native who still proudly calls Parkton home. She's a mom to a wonderful 13-year-old son who keeps her smiling and is one of the biggest parts of her life.
When she's not grooming, she loves drawing, playing music, and spending time with animals. She has always had a soft spot for animals of all kinds, helping rescue birds, squirrels, and turtles over the years. If she sees an animal that needs a little help, it’s pretty hard for her to just walk away!
That love for animals is a big part of why she enjoys what she does. She knows every pet has their own personality, quirks, needs, and loves getting the chance to know them.
She looks forward to meeting you and your fur baby and helping them look and feel their very best! 🐾💕
Meet Mandy! Animals have been a huge part of her life for as long as she can remember. Before becoming a professional groomer, she spent years working in the animal field as a veterinary assistant, humane society director, shelter manager, and animal care professional. She's cared for everything from the tiniest pups with big personalities, nervous dogs, seniors, and everything in between!
Grooming has become one of her favorite ways to combine her experience with her love for animals. She believes every dog deserves patience, kindness, and a groomer who takes the time to earn their trust. Her goal is for your pup to feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while getting their fresh new look.
When she's not grooming, she's a proud mom of a soldier and a college student. Her favorite title of all is Gigi to her beautiful granddaughter. ❤️ She's also the very proud mom of her own four-legged family, who keep her laughing, busy, and thoroughly convinced they run the house!
She feels incredibly lucky to spend her days doing something she genuinely loves: caring for dogs and getting to know the wonderful people who love them. She can’t wait to meet you and your pups! 🐾💕
